I spent some time polishing the tank and neck and managed to remove most of the gas stains. Still some more work to do to the neck and bottom of the tank but leaks no more!

^^^Thanks. I was trying to do that but my dang computer wouldn't cooperate!!
Just got back from breakfast in the cabriolet and the outside of the gas tank is dry!
I'm very pleased... this issue...

Tanks now makes a non-splash gas cap and you can get it vented or non-vented. $15
I bought a vented one and installed it and tested it this afternoon on my 1932 ford cabriolet and it did NOT leak at...
