My understanding is that these are hard to rebuild and get just right so they don't leak after rebuilding. I avoided the headache by finding a pair of NOS pumps on eBay. A little pricey but well...

After removing the intake on a V8 60 motor I noticed these numbers stamped on the block. What do they mean? Were they put there by Ford or were they done after by some remanufacture? Maybe someone...

My 38 has it in two locations. On the driver side frame in the engine compartment and on the same side but on the raised frame over the axel. I believe the body has to be removed to see the id number...
