Re: 1931 model A performance

Re: XM Radio On 6 Volts Positive?

The simplest solution is to find a grand child, yours or somebody else's. That child could easily load hours of your xm music to a jump drive (thumb drive) and you can play it through your USB port...

Re: XM Radio On 6 Volts Positive?

The cigarette socket plug that is used to charge those 5 volt devices will only let 5 volts thru whether it is plugged into 12 or 6 volts. Maybe that will help you get it done. The socket must be...

Re: XM Radio On 6 Volts Positive?

Anything that usually plugs into a USB is five volts. You could play music from your phone if the USB socket is wired properly. There are small remote speaker boxes Bluetooth or wired also.

Re: steering column removal

You don't have to remove the pedals if the sector and starter are removed. Just saying for future readers.

Removing the starter gives clearance to angle the wheel and column out the door. If you...

Re: Upholstery Clips - Need Advice

I have a 31 Tudor and had the same problem. I had to use two needle nose plyers to reshape the angle of the clips so they would slide in some holes. Also, in the top half of the doors the clips were...

Re: Cabin Fan

A 12 volt neg ground cell phone car plug reduces 12 or 6 volts to 5 volts. Just be careful to wire the ground as positive. I run my phone and GPS off of a Model A 6v battery this way with no problems.

Re: Installing Modern shocks

I think the bolts from the rear radius rods will work and are available from the suppliers.
That is what I used to attach the brackets for Ken Davis shocks. You can check it out easily.
