My 32 Ford Had a cut out when the points stuck It melted out the Amp Meter before I could disconnect the battery. I wil NEVER use a cut out (original) style again! I now use the FUN SPOT voltage...

I lost 2 Amp meters on a 32 ford when the points in the cut out stuck Closed when I shut the car OFF.. I would only use a Funspot cut out after that ! JM2CW kerk

I made a drop down or stepped down box for my 35. It is just a snap in piece wih NO modifications to the original location. Can be removed with no tools required so it can be returned to original....

I prefer to take it to the local Auto machine where they use a Sunnen Hone machine . Lines them up and can be made to fit as desired. JMHO kerk

Also I should have said the Special Washer it is also Much Thicker than a normal washer/ Once ouy see it you will notice the difference. kerk
