Towing a 28 Phaeton
This weekend I will be towing my Phaeton 60 miles at 60 mph in an open trailer. Should I have the top up or down, boot on or off, windshield on or off?

I have repo top irons. One of the bows rests on the back body panel of the car ( in the center ). I don't think that is correct.

28 Phaeton Top question
Do any of the top bows rest on the top edge of the rear panel? Do they all go down behind the rear panel without touching it?

Thanks for the ideas. I think I will use Mike's measurements to get close and then fine tune with the fabric top as you suggested.

The top irons and bows make more sense now. I never noticed the curve in the bow above the drivers head.
I bought a box of top bows and irons with no instructions.

My 28 is the same color as yours.
If you would measure the between the second, third and forth bows just above the flat iron links I would appreciate it very much.

I thought of another question. The bow that goes over the driver head is wider on
one side. Does the wide side go on the top or bottom?
