Flatheadmurre, thanx for that info, i was unaware that the early pumps didn't have a pressure relief. I guess i should have been more direct when i asked about the M-19 pump. So . . . Am i going to...

One more thing, why are there two oil pressure relief valves? One on the pump and one at the front of the engine in the valve chest.tom

I have a 239 c.i.,full floating rods with 10 k onthe clock. Changed oil today, bearing material in the oil (small, thin flakes), so the motor is coming out. My question is, i have a new Melling...

Dale, the torque tube is 53 7/16" O. A., the drive shaft is 51 9/16" O. A. It's my understanding that tha late '32 rear axle and the '33 & '34 v-8 rear axles share these dimensions.

I'm planning to use Lincoln brakes (front & rear) on my '37 1/2 ton. I have '40 brakes on it now and I just don't feel confident, especially the way people drive today. Just consider the worst case...

Correct computer generated asymmetric pattern, copper plate, nickel plate, engine turned and finally chrome plated.

Example of a pair of Weiand "cheater" heads, I plan to use these on my hotrod '32 roadster. If I live long enough.

42 Merc, yes the holes in the rod journal are side by side approx. one inch apart.

42 Merc, I mis identified the crank as a "59". This crank has two oil holes on the rod journal. Would you recommend an insert motor over a full floater?
