1942 1946 1947 1948 ford mercury flathead front brake drums

Front brake drums for 1942-48 Fords and Mercury. Drums measure right at 12". Good bearings. Brake surface is smooth. One drum has one small groove in the surface. 175.00 plus shipping for the pair....

Early 1947 would of had the bumpers also. The gravel guard and bumper brackets(irons) were different from late 1947 and 1948.

I would put them in your wifes oven and heat them up. Make that metal move a little bit. Let them cool down/ shrink down and try popping them off again.

This is the easiest way to take a stuck block apart. There are several barners using this process. I took 7 blocks apart last year.
