Re: Whatzit agian

Yep, an Air Friction carb. The i.d. tag was located on the air inlet tube. It was a brass tube threaded into the body of the carb. Check the MTFCA forum as well for lots of info.

Re: question from a young guy

Just be patient. Get involved with a local group, you would be surprised what may turn up.
I would suggest building a T, something between 17-25 parts are cheap and easily available. Once you have a...

Re: Why do you own a Model A?

Always enjoyed old cars, started with a 1939 Plymouth when I was just 14. Since then I have had old cars, trucks, motorcycles. Finally settled on Model A's and T's. Easy to work on easy to get parts,...

Re: Rebuilding Carburetor

Just did the same thing on a carburetor. Broke off the cap jet, luckily I have a real small easy out, the spiral kind. Warmed it up quenched it and was able to screw the remaining piece out with the...

Re: Seized t engine

Good Luck,

Re: Gasoline smell

Check the sediment bulb under the tank. I had a real problem getting mine to seal. It didn't leak enough to drip but was constantly weeping. I took it out and lapped the valve with a little Timesaver...
