Re: 1916 T Publication
Thanks for the info. As said, he has no interest in selling it but wanted a sort-of value for it probably in order to either share it to his grandkids, or to protect it from further deterioration.

1916 T Publication
I'm not at all knowledgeable about Model T's. But I have an octogenarian friend who has an old book about T's, he said his dad bought it many years ago because he had a mid-teens T. He's not...

Re: 55 crown Victoria hel0 needed
Terminal "parts disease"
It's in the old Ford parts book that I have. Exterior moldings section for '55s.
Not to worry though, as an old parts guy from many years ago, I've had...

Re: 55 crown Victoria hel0 needed
The part # for the left/driver side is B5A-6420189-A. It's called door outside rear upper corner molding.
Fits '55-'56 Crowns, Body style 64A and 64B (glass top & steel top).
Maybe try...

Re: Muffler Selection
I had dual Porters put on my '56 about 10 years ago. Love the sound. Nice rumble at idle but they will bark a bit when accelerating. Inside the car it's just enough to hear 'em, not annoying at...

Re: original paint y blocks
The heads are ECK-B, according to the yblock tech page they are 55 TBird 292 cid. The heads used on the rebuild are ECZ-B or -C.
I have a room with a bunch of Yblock stuff including 2 or 3...

Re: original paint y blocks
I still have the heads that came off the engine, ECZ's were used on the rebuild. I'll have to look at those old ones & see what the #s are on them.

Re: original paint y blocks
Sal that engine above has the carb & intake you got from me a few years ago, not sure if the manifold was painted too. I got the block near Akron Ohio but don't know its origin.

Re: original paint y blocks
Closest color we could find to what was on the block when I got it. Can't remember what it is called.

Re: original paint y blocks
This is the Yblock I got, from a '55 Mercury, 292 cid. Block & heads are more gold-ish than yellow/green, valve covers cream/ivory with red letters. Supposedly had 17K miles, stored for years when I...

Re: Difficult selling on barn?
I stopped selling on eBay over 20 years ago, got tired of the scammers, lo-ballers, increasing fees and BS. I've bought stuff on there, ended up with unusable junk and found out it's not worth the...

Re: Air Cleaner ID help - ECZ-9600-A
To some folks, that box alone is probably worth a few $$$$. Nice find, ya don't see 'em in that condition anymore unless they've been restored.

Drake Spindle Recall

Re: A bumper question for 56's
My '56 Fairlane does not have exhaust thru the bumper. It was original 312 automatic. If it came from the factory with the exhaust thru the bumper, it was converted before I got it. And I have...

Was it you that posted 'em? I didn't notice the name. Looks like all of them could be saved. My first car was a '60 Ford but not a hardtop.

Re: 1962 F-250 Unibody value
Value differs between buyer & seller of course. If as a buyer it is something you're looking for, the value can be much greater to you, than the actual market value for someone who is selling it for...
