Re: Built a louver press

Very nice work there Frank! Shaping metal has always been so mysterious to me. The video was so much more helpful to me than the spoken word. Thanks so much for posting!

Re: Cheap '33 Ford

I'd fix the mechanicals and drive it. 150,000.00 for a total restoration, but you'd have a 60,000.00 car when done? These numbers just off the top of my head, but ???? And I know this hobby isn't...

Re: 57 2 door ranch wagon

The flatheads will remain, The ranch wagon would be really nice for the dream road trips, the old homemade woodie maybe best suited for our island roads.

So, the one on the far right is the del rio? It has a gold colored insert in the double trim down the body side? Not that it really makes any difference to me, I have always loved the 57 ford...

57 2 door ranch wagon

Are all 57 2 door wagons a 'Del Rio', or were there different trim levels of these 2 doors? Thanks

Mike, I finally met you in person on Sunday when I was on my family roadtrip..... 'Impressive?' I think you wrote the book on that. 'Nough said. As far as this thread topic, every time I come up...

Re: Been on the back page

Might skid some logs tomorrow. Here is that 'hip roof' tool box, just mocked up for now. Like everything else on this heap, it's 'in the perfect state of disrepair'...

Re: 30 AA doodlebug hits the silver screen

I have some mighty big logs here. Pretty busy til after the first of the year, but after that I'll be starting to get after next winter's firewood. I will get some video of the process for sure.

Re: 30 AA doodlebug hits the silver screen

I did what all the helpful A barners told me to do to rectify the 3 1/2 thing. Seafoam, timing, hotter spark etc etc and it came around to running on 4. Sure, there's some blue smoke, but it's been...

Been on the back page
