I assume you mean the rubbing block on the points arm. Are you lubricating the distributor cam as specified?

The only time that I had the rubbing block wear down exceedingly fast was when I had...

It seems to me that putting in load resistors defeats the purpose of putting in LEDs to reduce the load.



I had flickering head lights on a modern (2000) car one time, I suspected the VR which...

I have a "Genius" 6/12 volt, 4 amp charger/maintainer that works great.
