Need to replace headgasket

My rebuilt engine is leaking coolant through some of the head bolts.. Yes even after I re-torqued to 55lbs! I want to pull the head and try a new gasket.. where can I find one for a 226 SIX "G"...

I have one from a 1948 F-4 Truck including fan.. I would be happy to sell it to you.. it needs a complete rebuild from Skip Haney..

That is exactly what I did with my 47 I wanted to attach the pin with wire.. in the meantime I leave it in a magnetic tray I keep on the toolbox.. so it is always handy.. :D

You should be able to find a aftermarket heater like my Arvin.. the backside (area pressed against the firewall) will have two threaded pipes that will hold the heater in place; inside of those...
