Re: radio repair?

I used Classic Auto Electric for my ‘50 clock. I was very pleased with his work, communication and his fee was exactly what he quoted. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.......Mark

Re: 8BA block concern

My ‘50 drips moisture from the exhaust frequently. If your not losing coolant and it doesn’t feel like antifreeze, I would think it’s just moisture...... Mark

Re: 50 Ford 8ba spark plug fouling problem

I use Autolite 216 in a stock ‘50 and have had two where the electrode pulled right out of the plug. I agree with the other posters that think you have another problem to cause fouling. Plugs won’t...

Re: 59AB Cooling System Advice Needed from the Experts (not an overheating issue)

Not sure if this has anything to do with your problem. Is the coolant recovery tank blocking air flow through the top corner of the radiator?.......Mark

Re: 1951 Ford 4dr

Are you about that being a ‘51?. The rear spring hangers are different. ‘51’s have a rounded piece of flat steel and mount the upper spring hanger in it, rather than through the frame like a ‘50. Or...

Re: 1951 Ford 4dr

There were running changes/improvements on the ‘49-‘51 cars. I think things were pretty much sorted out with the ‘51’s. I will get pics of the parts I have to you on Sunday.
