Other side all done . Took it for a drive , slight contact on one side , had to remove it and give it a touch up with the angle grinder. All good now. I think these retainers should be mandatory...

I have found the repo ones don't last long on a heavy car if it is a driver. Go for nos or use modern nylon ones like the hot rodders use

Derek 90mph ? Maybe on the salt but not on our roads. Welding pitman arms is a real no no over here. The new forged arms can be made to work for rhd . Good luck with the new rhd arms
