inner cap to rotor gap

What should the gap be between the inner cap pins

35' gas tank ID

Is there a way to tell if a gas tank is for a 35' panel ???

Found a guy who has a barn full of all sorts of gas tanks and has
about a dozen that look very close to online photos.

Tie rod ends

I just finished changing the clutch plate on my 53' 8N.
I had to cut into the boot to hold one tie rod stud while removing the nut.
The boot was made of leather and was most likely original.

I would like to sort out a shelf full of generators and get rid of ones

Is it possible to bench test generators ???

I figured out a way to mount one to my Atlas lathe
and mount a correct diameter pulley to a collet.
I think I am headed in the right direction but...

Moisture barrier

Whoever put down the concrete floor in my garage neglected to
put a moisture barrier under it. Since I moved in I have put down
a layer of poly a few times and need to do it again.

Big trucks that have high miles, many times,are just parked when the

Ford started building the "TONNER" in 1938 continuing until 1941 and
it had a model designation as "Y" with85 or 60 hp. In 1940 and 41 they
offered the "Y" along with the "3/4 TONNER" designated...

Every drum I have ever pulled has had both shoes with
molded linings of the same length.
All the linings in this box are the same length.

Was trying to find out if anyone here had any...

I have to remove the steering wheel to try and restore it.
The horn button switch assy has a nice gouge in it .
Wasn't sure if the button separated from the tube.
If I have to drop the steering...

How does the horn button/light switch knob separate from the rod ???
