One of the guys that was formerly in our local club took 1 1/2 to 2" out of his clutch and brake pedals, then welded them back together.

I just bought a half find can of blue that looked like it matched the crest in my radiator shroud fairly well. In 30 years no one has ever commented on it being wrong on my bumper clamp.

I have a carbon pile one to give me battery condition.

That is the beauty of that new one, they just hook it up, and flip the switch. Because you are right, parts people now days are not...
