Re: Radiator Recommendation

Agreed, a good alternative if you have a shop close that does quality work. I went with a Bergs, could not find a shop within a decent driving distance, paying for gas or shipping costs eats into...

Re: Headlight performance and midnight drives

The best way is to for you to buy some LEDs and judge for yourself. Otherwise it is all opinion, the Barn is full of threads of this long ongoing discussion. You could buy the inexpensive $7 dollar...

Re: Front Crank Seal Replacement Questions

I know very little about the oil pump and what looks worn or bad, perhaps others on the Barn can fill you in. Do a search here, try checking the Les Andrews books. I have had mine out to clean it...

Re: Fuel filter

I use both the the standup "pencil" filter on the intake to the fuel shutoff, and the sediment bowl micro filter. Had a couple of shutoffs go bad due to particles of rust/junk wrecking the innards...

Re: Fuel filter

If using one of the above make sure it is an automotive filter. Do not use a cheap small engine filter - not enough flow. A friend had put in a small engine filter and wondered why his car started...
