Re: Magneto Condenser

Carpenter is a great company and we are a dealer for them and refuse to stock their coils. But... their 37-41, and 42-48 for that matter coils will fail.. It's not a matter of if, but rather when...

Re: 1936 Headlight Lens Retainer clips

We likely have them NOS, however we are away until July 5th. The vintique clips I have used on 35’s and 35-39 pickups with no issues. You do have to bend them outward a bit but I just installed some...

Re: V8 Times Article on Bad Brake Shoes

I disagree with the article as the NEW shoes to tab is too long causing the issues rockfla mentioned. Some vendors I know are shortening the tabs before shipping. That may have been the issue with...

Re: 35' p/u gas tank

Keep in mind if you are using a original 35 hydrostatic gauge you have to use a 35 tank which is getting hard to find. If you are using a electric gauge you’ll have to use a 36-37 tank, which are...

Re: 1932 V/8 Upper Hoses

Jeff, I think you can use 42-48 upper hoses and cut off the lesser angled portion on one end and remove the metal strap.. I "think" this will work and would be cool to leave the Ford script for that...

Re: Auction of Gene Hetland's mostly '32 parts

The auction prices on the cars confused me... a 4 door sold for the same amount as a roadster pickup (60k), and a 2 door sedan brought darn close to a 3w coupe.. a neat collection of cars that in my...

Re: Ignition class discussion on the flatspot
