I think Model B Serial Numbers were on the Bell Housing.

If the markings on the block have Three numbers after the letters R & M, like ” R 010” and “M 020”; it is probably an engine rebuilders...

This kit is available “Affordable” Street Rods, and is a copy of original Kinmont Brakes made in the early 50’s.

A matching front kit is also available.

Somewhat pricey, but very unique.

Rear Disc Brake Conversion

I would like to convert my rear brakes to Disc Brakes.

Is there a vendor that makes a rear disc brake conversion kit that utilizes the early V-8 (40-48) rear hubs?

Bolts are behind the Flywheel, no access with flywheel installed.

If the flywheel gasket is leaking, oil will be present on the front of flywheel cover.

Make sure the oil fill cap or the tube...

I would suggest plugging the holes regardless of the head and gasket combination used. They are very close to #2 & #3 cylinders, and can cause more problems than they solve.

After satisfactory repair, I suggest you install a Steering Column Support Bracket to ease the stress on the tank mount.

This is on Bert's Model A Store, but other suppliers also stock them.

Our Vicky is Copra and Chickle Drab as well. Interestingly, there is a 30 Victoria in Cheyenne with the same color combination, and if they are parked together, the colors match really well.
