Warm them up in hot water, use a small amount of liquid dish washing detergent on the bar and brute force.

If you freeze the carbon steel part and heat the stainless steel part (250*), they will slip back together. You have to work fast!

I have restored several S.S. items, it requires a lot of time and concentration. I use a lot of different techniques and tools, one of the most useful tools is a urethane block that i use as a dolly....

I've used Glyptol several times and each time i've used it, i baked it per instructions. The result was hard as glass. I'm getting ready to do the engine cases on my '48 Indian.

St. Louis plating will plate dull nickel, they are on Franklin Ave. They have plated several things for me in dull nickel.

I have taken powder coating off of several parts. I used "aircraft stripper",after applying the stripper wrap it with plastic wrap. It may take a little while, but it will come off.
