Re: 1954 Ford Ranch Wagon door panels

Try Larry’s TBird.com in so cal. They made custom door panels for my 1953 Courier wagon. I say custom because they don’t normally make door panels for 53, they start at 54. Top notch company.

Re: 54 Ford Interior Considerations

Larry’s third parts in So Cal has reproduction interior parts for 1955 up full size fords. If 55 door panels fit, he has them.

Re: Sedan Delivery/Station Wagon license plate holder

My 53 Courier did not have the parts you asked about as the door opens sideways, not down. I don’t believe sedan deliveries license plates had the ability to pivot as the wagons did. Mine swings...

Re: 55 sedan delivery eng conversion

Jamco sells the various mounts I think. You could check with them. I used their mounts to put a 302 and AOD in my 53 Courier.

Re: Door Panals

Larry’s Thunderbird in So Cal handles them. They make to suit. They have the patterns. I have a 53 Sedan Delivery and I had partial patterns for my doors because they do not usually sell Pre 55. I...

Re: Shoebox Ford rear end swap

I used the rear from an 8” from 74 Maverick and it bolted in. The spring pads were in the right place already. Used 15 x 7 Wheel Vintique wheels. I also cannot remember the backspacing.

Re: Headers For A 55 With An SBF

I used the Hedman headers in my 53 Courier with 302. Fit perfect until i changed to Borgeson power steering box. Then just needed a small dimple near the box. I recommend them

I just put new aftermarket gauges in my 60 Ranchero and could not use the aftermarket sender that came with the gauges due to the side mount of the stock sender in the tank.
The sender worked the...

Re: 9" dif for 55 fairlane

I’m using an 8” rear end from a 74 Maverick in my 1953 Courier sedan delivery. Bolted right in and plenty strong behind a 302 with AOD.

Re: Exhaust headers

I also have them on my 1953 Courier with 302/AOD and Borgeson steering box. I did have to dimple a slight amount to clear the steering box. Otherwise no clearance issues.
