remove and look at plugs-anyone of them different looking indicating a miss? clean and replace if this does not help then new plugs (autolite 216) would be the first change, then plug wires, cap,...

35 1 1/2 ton truck rear gears

looking for a set of gears or a rear axle (preferred) to help get this truck moving better. After looking in parts book looks like a 5.14 ratio was offered. anybody have any suggestions?

I sandblast the inside of harley/davidson tanks all the time, then we use por 15 kit to redo, have never had any problem. I also do this with all my restoration tanks-probably 20 tanks so far and...

air bubbles? change bowl gasket or rebuild pump/check valves, there is an air leak or the check valves are not working correctly. do a volume check

I have seen those holes and the slots drilled/ground to fit 5/16" drill bits, I would prefer you use the drill bit as they last a long time

If you look close you will see where the weld seem is on drakes tank, a little removal of materiel on each end enables the tank to go in--don't forget to seal up the ends you trimmed

I used the wooden cribbing for 25,000 fork lifts so yes they work well, in fact I kept a pair that I still use today for my old Fords. You can get a high lift floor jack that will lift it high...
