now im really confussed. i had the right dip stick in and after adding 5 quarts after dropping pan it read quart low. used a flat head 8 dip stick and it read correct.dont get it

thanks for all the input. As i previusly posted I dropped my oil pan and found lint covering my oil pump filter cleand it and put pan back on. car starts cold with 20 lbs of oil pressure as it warms...

I have no inspection cover on oil pan the oil pan is off.if it was worn seems like it would be making some kind of noise. this motor is very smooth and quiet

tried to set brake cross shaft arms in the middle but one arm is tilted forward and the other arm is tilted back. nothing is loose or seems worn. is this normal?. having hard time setting brake rods

21 inch wheels and tires

5 wheels with almost new bf goodrich tires. one wheel has a crack near spoke used as a spare. would also consider trade for 5 35 ford wheels

Thats what i love about this site. Ask a question and get straght answers. a pair off vise grips remove the tabs and just put a small amount of pressure between frame and tranny and out it came....

decided to install rear float a motor. removed the three bolts on frame and the two on the motor. can not hammer the mounts backward there are three tabs that go through frame that the rubber fits...

if I tighten the hub nut down to where it should be the shoes are rubbing on the drum. back it off and it dont rub but the hub nut is too loose. any ideas why it should rub. adjusters backed off all...
