This video was a real treat, as I have a 1940 1 ton pickup and a 1940 COE. When you stop and think, this country was built with trucks using automobile engines that were geared down. I have a 1948...

Contact Gerry Markham. he's in Rochester, N.Y. 585-235-1262. He is very knowledgeable on stationary engines, and is one of the best flathead mechanics in the country.

I removed the water pumps on my '33 roadster to have them rebuilt, but I cannot remove the probe for the temp gauge from the water pump and don't want to tug on the sending line for fear of it...
