Update both sides vent w/s have been replaced.
I've mentioned before my car has been through a lot in its' life i.e. taken apart and put back together--many times.

That's correct. On the Driver's side the leading edge part of the WS does not stay in its groove.

Hi Guys!

Not discussing the rivet strip but the "C" weatherstrip, it appears just to be pressed in by hand and there is no adhesive, like adhesive on a front window weatherstrip.

The weatherstrip on the Driver's side fell? out and the Passenger side assembly is out for new weatherstripping.

Question: They both appear to have been installed without glue, is that s.o.p.?...

Kultulz, CA really doesn't have vehicle inspections. CA does have SMOG Stations
to check for emissions and costs about $50 every two years. But if you have an older vehicle perhaps 25 years old?...

Just a few of the things I've found that weren't just quite right😁

AZ is brutal on rubber fuel injection fuel lines. Have a very minor seep near the stock Ford connector at the fuel filter.
This fitting is the one where you remove a plastic grey C clip to remove...

I bought the wiring diagram...it's a head scratcher how the three, dome light two switches are wired...but I'm gonna do it someday. Will take a photo of the diagram soon and submit.

Have you seen the new Striker? It comes in two pieces....this does not include the lower cover with the two eyelits for the screws. This two piece Assy seems one can just order the two tooth catch...

My speedometer will not return to zero mph unless I travel in reverse for a bit.
