Re: San diego big 3 swap meet--last one

Do you mean the one at the Little League Baseball Park in San Bernardino? Itís also easier to walk.

The Riverside Model T Club has a Swap Meet there in May or June with a lot of Model A Parts.

Re: Dipstick for Tremec T170 Transmission

Maybe it would be best to contact a Tremec dealer. I spoke to a dealer from Texas at the Good Guys Car Show at Del Mar last year.

By the way, I’m interested in finding out how the transmission is...

Re: Amount of oil remaining in the engine

Hey Synchro,

Blame it on the British. Since Australia is still part of ďEmpireĒ, I would think you would have kept the weird British System. Wish the U.S. had gone to the Metric System. They teach...

Re: Pressurize a cooling system

If you just don’t want fluid leaking out on your driveway you can’t put an overflow tank on the radiator. There was a recent thread a week or two ago discussing an overflow tank.

The only reason...

There was a Lotus/Cortina produced in the UK. Unless I am mistaken, it had a Climax head and probably a cam.

Re: water pump end play how to stop?

I second Fredís comment. If youíre getting the engine rebuilt, might as well get a leakless water pump and an aluminum two blade fan if you donít already have one. Cheap upgrades compared to the cost...
