Re: Turn Signal Switch with Relays

I bought a 4-pack of 50-watt 6-ohm resistors from Amazon for $12.99. I installed two and the flasher works with the relays. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Re: Turn Signal Switch with Relays

Thanks for the input.
Would this flasher work instead of adding resistors or bulbs? It works with bulb ratings as low as 0.1 amp. ...

Turn Signal Switch with Relays

I installed a Signal-Stat 900 7-wire turn signal switch per the included directions. I used the 500 flasher included with the Signal-Stat. My truck is 6-volt positive ground. I built a relay panel...

Re: electric gas pump on a 39 PU Frame

You can buy hose that meets all standards for ethanol fuel that is designed for carb engines. No need to spend extra for FI rated hose. I bought gates hose from rock auto with the fuel filter order.

Check out the chargers at "no.co". Four letters with a dot in the middle. Also available on amazon. I have two for maintainers, but also charge with them.

Re: Bleeding brakes on 42

Nice rig. While you are under the truck check out the rear bleeders and try to figure out how to bleed that part of the system. The bleeder is recessed and virtually unreachable by wrench. I made...

Re: Turn Signal Loom to Steering Column

Thanks everyone. I sent a PM to 46fatford. Mark I took your idea a step further and put notches in from both sides so the flashing (I used paper so far) locks together around the wire loom then...

Re: New Battery Cables

Ford38v8: the green book calls for two bolts the same length. The bracket fits under the head of the inner bolt so a wire lug should (sounds like assume) fit under the outer bolt. That is a good...

Re: How to Test a 1940 Ford gas sending unit

JSeery, can you test the unit by connecting the sending wire to the test unit, a ground wire to the case of the test unit, and move the float through the range of motion? Mine reads 7/8 full on the...
