I don't think Mac Hils would have put the bumps in the floor unless they were original. I have not reduced my research to that degree of minutia but I can only say I believe the bumps are correct....

Mac Hils product is spot on. You'll be tickled pink. Try it, You'll like it. I have his repo bed for 35-36 and am extremely pleased with it. I believe I know my 35-36 pickups pretty well. Lawson

Most fuel problems are electrical. Check the coil and condenser.

That mounting plate is not for 36 wide five spare carriers. Looks like 35. Is that a spring or bolt? Whichever, I cannot see its purpose.

Oxidation. I sort of agree with Alan if it is in a car. I have a NOS core that is almost completely covered with greenish/gray oxidation. Spray it with vinegar and see what happens.

Rig up a makeshift gas tank with a gallon milk jug or large tin can, mounted up near the engine just to get it cranked up. Worry about the gas tank/gas line later. My 2
