Have not read all the posts but is it getting 12 volts to and from the switch,many years ago on a 65 Galaxie the turn signal switch in the column went bad and no brake lights.

Parking brake warning light switch

My 65 Montclair has the warning light and the switch is broke,anyone know how long that parking brake assembly was used. I am going to hit the local old junkyard and see what I can find.

I ran a wire from the battery to the solenoid and it just arced but no movement in the solenoid.

Shop manual has a wiring diagram,the wires going to the coil and governor from the kick down switch are the ones that burnt.

When and if this all goes togather I have a 66 4 bbl intake that has the provision and the three threaded holes for that PCV system but the larger hole is not drilled so it will have to be machined.

I seen a copy of a invoice of another 55 Fairlane I noticed that dealer charging around 15 dollars for the clock and on the invoice for my 55 Sunliner there is no extra cost for it.
