your memory serves you correctly on how these girls go through the gears. My Dad told me once long ago that you can shift these manually if you know what your doing or maybe if you know how to abuse...

would these 58 switches fit a 52? I currently have a NSS that the arm broke off. I would either like to bypass the switch safely or replace it. but I am having a hard time finding a switch for that...

hello there, is there a safe way of bypassing a failed switch on a 52 Fordamatic safely, so that the vehicle can be started in park as a normal function?

thanks guys, I got it installed not much of a noticeable difference over the original, but then I need my carb gone through as well. I have another flattie in a 46 pickup that I will be putting one...

thanks for the reply guys I have already pulled the plugs and sprayed a fog of PB blaster down the plug holes I will try the ATF as well, and also left the spark plugs loose to allow the compression...
