I just pull the engine. When i am reinstalling the engine I jack up the tranny a little and install the engine by turning the engine over with a 1 5/16 socket to get the clutch splines to match. ...

I use copper head gaskets and spray sealant. I torque to 55lbs run it retorque after running at least 2 more times. Good Luck

My 31 has an early 30 gas tank that uses the 29 style dash plate. Works for me but you will want to check that. Good Luck

Love my Monroes , 35 wheels and 600 tires. 2 miles of dirt road to county paved road and they do the job great.

I use shocks from Ken Davis, both front and back. I drive 2 miles of dirt road to get to county road and they work great.

What type of speedometer do you have? Round or oval. I have a 1931 that has the oval type. The light is in the center of the dash panel like on a 1929. It is odd but sometimes odd things were used...

I've been driving Model A's for 60 some odd years. In high school I learned if you abuse them, you shear axle keys. I use the shims if the axle surface warrant it. I torque to 80 lbs and then align...

If you don't have Les Andrew's Red Book', I would recommend getting it. You will need a special tool to remove the nut on the timing gear. Andrew's book gives step by step instructions. Bert's part...

The 5.5 or the 6.1 from Synders is a good choice. I have both and a 7.1 Winsor which is aluminum. I live in the Sierras and prefer the the cast iron 6.1. Good luck and have fun.

I found a frog in one once. It looked like it came out of the LA Tar Pits. I would pull the pan and head and take a close look.
