Re: Radiator Cap Won't fit into the grill shell
Good Grief. I re-read my reply and your reply. I will try to be clearer for you. I am not in a position from 8,000 miles away to tell you the exact cause of a leak in a radiator made 9 years ago. ...

Re: New Radiator Opinions
Not sure how you took away that we do not make radiators. It's what we do. We traded numerous emails and I explained how they were made in by Ford and how we make them and why a number of things...

Re: 1934 Ford Pickup Radiator
Sorry we lost your vote.
1. There is no listing for a truck radiator on their website, just a car. You can remove your OE brackets and affix them to that radiator we just don't know why you'd...

The 9,999 is a placeholder price for the website. I'll change it to 999,999 so it is more clear

Re: radiator
Yes, a cheap aluminum POS is bound to be problem free. Another tip is to order a larger radiator when you can or at least know how to measure.

Re: 28-29. 30-31 radiator interchange
We make all radiators and all radiator parts in california. Only the neck is made outside our building and we modify it to better fit the aftermarket caps made overseas.

Re: 31 Ford radiator
The most common radiator is priced at 725 today. Restorations of the Model As require further handwork we do not incur in the production item(s). I would be happy to provide the tube and fin material...

Re: Radiator Question
Thats a 1.5" ton radiator. Your lower hoses fitment may be a
challenge. You can likely restore that radiator and place the hoses where you want them. That can sometime be less expensive than a...

Re: Radiator Cap Won't fit into the grill shell
We restore radiators but the parts are the owner's and would not be sold to anyone else. I searched through your 6700+ forum posts but no luck. I looked for a Model A melbourne shipment in/around...

Re: Radiator Cap Won't fit into the grill shell
Frank - The neck hole and aftermarket cap are the issue in this photo. This should not have anything to do with the radiator or the radiator neck. I just measured a Vintique cap and its .050" wall....

Re: 1936 Radiator Availability
This is a good point. A cap's pressure is measured in pounds-per-square inch. If you imagine 1" square graphing paper overlaid on a tank and then imagine a 16# weight on each of the squares you...

Re: Engine temp rises when I get to cruise speed
Because you have room and you want 15 degrees more from a hopped up engine and you have 10% less face area than the OE core for that engine's production year.
Pretty sure the larger coolant...

"crud coming out of the bottom outlets"? You said you had a boiled the block and had hot tanked the radiator two times. Where would sludge come from?
In 2020 you said “I do have about 6 head...

Re: Engine temp rises when I get to cruise speed
Removing the fan shroud helped the air get out and your temperature dropped by 15 to 25 degrees bringing you ~15 degrees below your upper bound target. You're reporting a radiator temperature drop...
