Staple length?

Getting ready to redo my interior, I have a pneumatic stapler and familiar with convertible tops and modern interior repair/replacements, what length staples is everyone using? (My gun uses T50ís)...

I checked it and it is straight, I don't think I over torqued them, maybe not tight enough. I will make one tonight from 1/32 material and re-torque them after running a while.

Carburetor base gasket

The base gasket on my Tillotson carburetor is leaking, can I skip the gasket and use permatex liquid gasket or just cut a new one out from sheet gasket?
