I have exactly the same problem. The gas running down my fender has damaged the paint. It would be great if you get some good ideas on how to remedy this.

I have a friend who just bought a 1937 from another state and has to go to the Highway Patrol to find the VIN or they will issue a new VIN so he can register the car. I understand it is on the left...

I've been using a Ron Francis switch for a couple of years and it works great. It costs more but I think it is worth it. It doesn't require as much pressure for it to light up the brake lights...
