Re: Model A as a mobile studio

Re: Will I fit in a Roadster??

I'm 6'1" 230 lbs with a 38"hamburger belly. You'll learn the trick to get in and out of it. It would be a problem if I had side mounted spares. Like Jim said, avoid pulling on the steering wheel...

Re: Unauthorized accessories

Re: Who's running a Marvel/Schebler carb?

I'm running a Marvel/Schebler carb on my 28 roadster. I have not experienced any "vapor lock" type symptoms like I did with a Zenith. Here is my roadster configured with a "Bat" super-charger and a...

Re: Recap of the "Let's get personal" thread

Re: OK! Let's get personal!

I'm 59 years old.

Re: NC title transfer

I went through that process with a Model A I bought in California. NC would not accept the California title because the VIN # did not match the engine number. The title was signed over to me and I...

Re: The driving experience

Hawaii, What a neat place that would be to drive a Model A. I'm laid up with a sore throat and snotty nose in cold and wet North Carolina.

Re: OT: Is a 'themed' shop necessary to a (potential) customer??

I think a showroom is a good idea. It does not have to be just completed cars on display. You're a restoration shop. Potential customers are interested in your process of restoring. Why not...

Re: Charlotte

I will be there, Green Field QG-106. This week I need to get my parts together to take. I'm not sure what I have. I know I have a set of rumble seat springs.

Re: Theme Cars

Will have a license tag saying "uphold the 18th amendment" (no 'shiner woulda wanted it repealed!)

A 'shiner may want to use a little reverse psychology and have a tag that says "repeal the 18th...

Re: Vapor lock!

I'm confused by Steve's "air trapped under an open stopper" analogy. Is this describing vapor lock or trash in a fuel line?

Bill W.'s comparing the fuel line with a human esophagus is off the...
