Is it a 3 or 2 brush generator? If 3, the third brush can be adjusted to increase or decrease output.

I ended up pulling it apart and cleaning the contacts with a little wire wheel on a dremel. The outer inset edge didnt sit proper on the metal case so it was worked a little with a file. Once...

I typed it wrong. 0.6 ohms primary and 6.5 kohms secondary.

Ignition switch woes

For testing purposes can the ignition switch be replaced with a basic 30A toggle switch? On a '38 fordor.

Been having a heck of a time tracing an intermittent issue causing the car to die. Figured...

Not sure bout the paint but I have saved old wd40 by cross docking with a can of compressed air or air duster. Connect the wd40 to air duster with little red straw. Squeeze both triggers for a minute...

That'll work just swell. Allot of guys use cornhead grease in the steering box if you have issues with the 140 disappearing from there. It's a NL00 grease, solid when cool but liquid when warm.

That's were I got my rebuild kit. They get it from daytona parts who supply the correct power valve for the Holley 94.

My car had Autolite 216's when I got it. Using ngk B6L now and never had a problem with either.

Had this happen with a NGK plug once on an alternate make engine. Just finished changing the valve...

I tried it that way with a screw jack as shown in the vern Tardel book and it warped the housing out of round. I ended up buying a cheap hydraulic press and borrowed an exhaust fitting/press tool...

What's the silver thingy right after the banjo but before the rubber hose called? Does it have internals? A one way valve Or just a fitting.
