Re: Stretched T
Remember when the manufacturers tried 4 wheel steering in the 80s and couldn't get it right? Some tried it again in the early 2000s - the answer to the question nobody asked......

Re: Grease fitting on exhaust pipe

Re: Car Is Shrinking........
I'm torn on which one to get. The rarer early 33 had a fender like the Model A but later and in 34 the fender had an extra piece behind the wheel.

Re: Car Is Shrinking........
I've got a few pounds on you and would love to add a 33-4 Vicky to the stable. I wonder if any of the aprox 4,200 1933 Vickys got a 4 cylinder.

Re: Engine Number
Your car has probably been registered since before the early 70s in CA. Today if you register one built from parts or brought from out of state you'll probably get a new tag from the state.

Re: Engine Number
Which is 100% lame since the frame number is hidden when the body is on (how would they check it on a car they stopped if you reported your car stolen). CA won't use the engine number and puts one of...

Re: Next step - brake lines...30 Tudor - Guidance?
With disc runout the pads can just keep backing off (there is no positive stop and the runout forces the fluid back into the master cyl) needing you to pump the pedal to get them back into contact....

Re: Next step - brake lines...30 Tudor - Guidance?
Local parts stores carry various lengths of brake line - use 3/16". I like to start with the straight lengths - you only need to cut and flare one end (if any). The coiled stuff takes too much time...

Re: Vacuum advance dist. for Model A
#3 cylinder on old VWs ran 3 degrees of retard. That cylinder was shrouded by the oil cooler and they retarded the spark to keep it a little cooler. The Porsche 356/912 distributors had evenly spaced...
