This is what I use to resize. The Model T Ford Club of America forums picture limit is 250KB or less. This program lets you do group resizing.

Ask on the Early V8 forum. It covers the 6's as well. Most of the major V8 parts suppliers should carry some stuff for 6's. Also ebay.

Follow up on test; After almost 3 days, the mineral spirits are pretty much at the same level in the bowl except for some evaporation and only a couple of damp spots on the face where it is machined...

ditto on the quilting padding, only I used the synthetic. Comes in different thickness and if it does get wet wont hold the water like cotton would.

I too would say timing gear cover, but nut does not go with it. If the nut has fine threads and from it's discoloration, I would say manifold hold down or exhaust pipe clamp.

A crack in the bowl would show gas weeping, read his post. Gas just sitting in the just the bowl which is resting in the jaws of a vice, the gas is creeping up the side and over the top.

Before telling someone to check the Judging Standards, make sure the information is covered in them. Just because there is a chapter covering X does not mean that the question is covered in chapter...
