built a box from 3/4" plywood and he gave me permission to cut off the shift lever so the box was...

I had one in my black Tudor in the 1990s.
One day I went into second gear and it split in two.
I was pleased that it did not lay my hand open, but never considered having another one......

Lots of things visible in the pic show this car is unencumbered by the Judging Standards.
But what the heck, they don't all have to be.

if the correct bolts were used (locking heads), you can remove the rear main cap with the pan removed.....

Plastiguage is OK for clearance but I like the "go/no go" method using heavy duty...

it worked just fine.
sold the car in 1990, have not seen another mirror like it since.....

looks like an early '30.
'29 style cab, hood & radiator; 1930 wheels, bumpers and headlights.
gas & radiator cap are 29 style.
get ahold of a copy of the judging standards for more guidance....
