Just be careful not to get the exhaust pipe too close to the fuel line on the drivers side or you will have vapr lock issues.

Got it apart by attaching a ratchet strap to the rear axle bulling backwards and a come a long on the engine pulling forward and driving the u joint forward through the grease hole in the torque tube...

Kevin, that worked! It charges 14+ volts with the field and arm tied together. So I guess I have two bad voltage regulators in a row? These are USA made J&N brand so I thought I would be good. ...

Here's the scoop: 8BA in a 34 coupe. Decided to change over to 12 volt neg grnd, Swapped out the bulbs and such. Sent the gen to the shop for 12 v field coils, brushes etc. New optima 12 v battery....

I have looked at probably fifty 30-31 roadster doors and all have the same punched hole on both sides. Never seen them on a 28-29, but did find them on 32 roadster doors. Maybe one of the experts...

I'm rebuilding a couple of 31 roadsters and while putting on a new door skin I noticed a punched hole on the inner door next to the latch. Looked like a 357 shot through the door with jagged edges...

Does the 28 roadster top and irons fit the 28 RPU? Or can it be made to fit? Not looking for perfection here but a top that will work on a RPU. Thanks, Steve
