I have removed my distributor and ready to install new points. I marked all the plug wires to match the Dist Cap. The distributor position is marked on the block.

Thanks, I'll pull the starter off and go thru that and while it's on the lift I can check all the grounds & connections. I do have good sized copper ground cable, # 2 stranded I believe.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I currently do have 00copper battery cables but will go back over them and check all connections to be clean and tight. With your help we'll get to where we need to be.
