I lost a little over 2 gallons in antifreeze. I ordered the block tester off Amazon as suggested and will see if it is a head gasket, etc. issue. Hoping I don't have to replace on a brand new...

First few voyages of a near complete restoration. First real drive the car - 28 Leatherback - overheated terribly. It was the original radiator and I had it checked originally and told it was good....

When I got the car to restore the windshield visor was painted. However I've seen many pictures with the 28 leatherback visor covered in brown vinyl to match the top. What is correct?

I believe it is the correct one for the oval dash. I have one on my 29 pickup and thinking of POPPING OFF THE DASH PANEL TO TAKE A LOOK.

Thank you Brent! I thought that was the case but wanted to check. It appears the tank is threaded as 3/8 instead of 1/4. All I can think is this was the result of some past, quick repair.
