This fan is 15 3/4 diameter which is another clue to it being incorrect. Sorry, can't post photo .

Thanks, the fan is crank mouted and radiator has little play. Fan kissed it on bottom. Per green bible fan should be 3.75 in. about 3 /4 inch shorter than the one I have. Thats why I was asking about...

The gen.i am using has a V-4 after the script. The one that came on this engine has a C-11 after the Ford script. This is a truck gen. and has the third post also.

My 39 deluxe generator has 3 terminals, two on the side and one on back. Back one is armature, one side one is marked field and the other one is not marked. The harness has two wires, one for field...

The leak is deffently coming the pin, I have car on lift and been watching it for a week. I rebuilt this tranny a few years ago and did seal the ends of the shafts with rtv and they are not leaking....

Take the tube out and put in in a pan of boiling water. It should read hot if it's not close then gauge is faulty. Borrow your wife's good sauce pan for the test.

I knew a old timer who raced stock cars in the 50s and asked if they ever relieved the blocks on the flatheads. He told me they tried it but never saw any improvement on the track. Fwiw.

And when you put it back the bottom goes in first. Try it the other way and you can break the glass. Don't ask me how I know.
