Conversion U-joint
I'm putting a 1971 Ford Maverick rear end in my 1950 Ford car can anybody tell me a part number for the rear conversion universal joint to fit the 50 drive shaft?

Now that I've got everything apart I'm going to replace the synchro stuff. I had been using the wrong gear lube, gonna switch to GL1 and check clutch pedal play and shift linkage for wear. Thank you...

If it makes a difference, the car is a daily driver and it ran great for the last 5,ooo miles and then last week it started making noise.

Second gear trouble.
I have a 1950 Ford car with a 3 speed transmission and overdrive. I can't get it into second gear, grinding and "Gnashing of Teeth". First and third gears are okay and the shift linkage seems fine.
