Re: '39 Standard hood latch

Thank you Karl. Is there any way to improve the resolution of the drawing? I need to enlarge it, but it becomes to fuzzy to read when I do.

Thanks,
Ron

'39 Standard hood latch

Does anyone have an assembly diagram of the hood latch assembly for a '39 Standard tudor? Also, what size are the hinge to hood bolts (with shoulders)?

Thanks.

Wiring harness

I recently asked a question about the fuel sending unit and gauge on my 39 and based on a photo that I posted along with the question, I was "advised" that the wiring jungle under my dash needed to...

I bought my '39 standard back in November and thought I had found the goose that laid the golden egg because the fuel gauge always showed full. Recently, fear of being stranded on the side of the...

Re: New member intro and a question about mirrors

After much cursing and banging with a BMF hammer and drift, I finally got the pins out and the original mirror modified and the new mirror installed. I have to agree with those of you who said the...

Re: Modern steel belted radials on '37 wide five wheels

Okay, I'm following this thread to try to find out exactly what the wheel width is for a '39 wide five. It is my understanding that tires are intended to be mounted on wheels of certain widths. Am I...

Re: 55-57 Tbird info

This had been in the family since 1966. My dad paid $1100 for it.
I sold it in 2008 for $10000. Wish I had kept it.486376

Re: Speaking of air filters: The sequel

Not trying to hijack this thread, but this is the air cleaner that was on my '39 Standard when I got it. Is this correct?
