thanks very much, in my 40MERC the button is rotated left and jumps right off. I'll check the light switch area. I'm not going to remove the rod.

Hornwire polarity

The horn wire from the horn button to the horn coil makes a ground connection, right? Since my after market tooter is non-Ford and l had two terminals, does it matter how I wire the horn?
