Re: New to Early V8ís - 34 Fordor

For all things mechanical get the 1932-1937 Ford Service Bulletin Book. Almost all of the V-8 parts vendors carry this book. Also you have a very nice '34 Fordor. Those are great tour cars.

Re: Problems with Ford museum? I certainly hope not

Re: Problems with Ford museum? I certainly hope not

Sheldon brings up a good point. Do you have the e-mails? If so those should be forwarded to the current Foundation President which is Craig Floyd. Not sure why this issue was posted here? It's...

Re: 35 Ford Apple Green Paint Formula

It would be cheaper to powder coat them. There's a wide variety of powder colors.

Re: 1941 Super Deluxe convertible / Pricing question

Checked e-Bay completed items and found two that sold. One for $26,000 and one for $30,500. It looks like Hagerty's estimate is close. With today's economy I suspect $25K to 27K would be a decent...

Re: Found another one- 34 PU estate sale in WA

The factory tan color with black fenders and black wheels would look just right to me.

Re: Power window conversion in 41 Ford 1/2 ton PU

I would also recommend Nu-Relics or Specialty Power Windows. Look for kits that are made specifically for your pickup. Shy away from anything that uses the word "universal".

Re: window regulator???

No they are not the same if you are talking passenger car vs pickup.. You can use regulators from the '40-'47 Ford pickups and big trucks that use the same doors. 38-39 pickups may use the same...

Re: Redding Calif. My brother needs a little help

If you are a V-8 club member use your roster and give him the phone # of Dale Smith who lives in Redding. He has a '36 Ford sedan and may be able to help.

On close inspection of Pete's enlarged photo it appears that a piece may have broken off the bottom of that part?

Drake made a new 34 grille. Check with him and if he doesn't have one maybe those that carry Drake parts may have one.

Re: 1936 Phaeton - mystery part ID

You might want to check your headlight switch at the bottom of the column. If the spring and fork that turns the switch falls out when you drop down the switch unit, you will know for sure where it...
