I tried a stick in the door and it seemed to help. I also was able to move the door striker out a small amount. Installed new seal and door closes fine and lines up on the top. Thanks for the advice .

after the new seal i had to close door hard to get it to latch resulting in having to pry latch open from inside to open door. Had to remove seal to get door to work again. top has to come out as a...

Your intake manifold should have two vacuum ports on drivers side. One near the front for Dist. and one farther back for the wipers.

Is that the part that connects to the pedal? If so it doesn't look right. Bob Drake lists the two pieces and probably other venders as well.

you can test for correct voltage on back of ignition switch. one terminal is ignition, one is coil and the other one is for the gauges.

it takes a red gauge fluid with a specific gravity of .86 . try looking for Dwyer gauge fluid for manometers.

the sun manometers suffer from corrosion caused by being close to the 6 volt battery and the fumes from charging.

You can make a tool using 1/2" or larger all thread rod and some washers and nuts. Hardest part is removing the torque tube.

I once pulled the heads on a 39 truck due to low readings on gauge. You guessed it, gauge was bad.( intermittly) was nothing wrong with engine.

I got my exhaust from Waldrons for my 39 deluxe and it fit reasonably good but as Kube pointed out it did need some tweaking. Had to wait two months for it.
