Oxy Acetylene cast iron welding rod 1/4" by 18" filler rod

$15.00 per lb.

Have about 50lb of 1/4" by 18" cast iron filler rod for Oxy acetylene welding. Retail now is about $25 -$30 lb depending on were you buy it.

Bernard guns use a 1/4 turn tip. But i dont know if they make a gun that small.

In the past i also noticed that the lincoln machines sold at home depot were not the same as the commercial models.

Question is how does the on off lever come apart? The lever tip or knob looks to be either pressed on or is it screwed on?

What i have to do is close up a hemmed edge on a 8 ft long edge of 24 gauge so 2 rollers 1" wide will work even if i have to go over it a couple times. A hand held tool is easier then handling the...

Ah ,the old days of mordrop. Ever get one back that had the end ripped out and crudely welded back together? At the end it was a good thing they closed up.

I recognized the agriculture pioneer, lots of corn fields in the lower half of the state. Unless it had something to do with some kind of planting or harvesting equipment?

Got it with project. Its the original ford 1933 to 36 ford axle thats dropped to 4". Can run it with spring on top.like 1928 to 1934 or spring in front with a later 35 to 36 wishbone then it will fit...

Nothing i could find like a simple hardware store remedy.

Ended up machining one out of nylon and slit it with a razor blade to install it. Then fitted the bore to a snug fit.
