Re: Copper washers for master cylinder and power booster fittings

That thick copper may not be your friend. I would check with a place that makes hoses or go to another major auto parts. You want a washer thin enough that it can crush and seal. Too thick and it is...

Re: Copper washers for master cylinder and power booster fittings

Re: What MC do I have

I think the key is to look for the casting # on yours (AJ2155A). There are a couple used ones on evilbay and one seller happened to lay a tape across the vert. bolts and it is less then 2". Another...

Re: 56 t-bird 312 mech temp sender

I don't think you will be able will be able to go mechanical unless you can remove the existing bushing. I been using the Stewart Warner electric gauge and they have a 1/8 pipe probe 1/4" and 3/8 or...

Re: What MC do I have

To my knowledge Raybestos MC18000 master fit many year ford including 54-59 and more. It has a 1" bore. Is it rebuildable? What's the chance one of your mounting studs has a slight tweak? I wouldn't...

Re: What MC do I have

Without seeing the whole thing that somewhat also resembles 58 to 61 Chevy car.
Raybestos MC18000
If it is manual brakes the bore is probably 1". If power brakes it may have 1 1/8 bore.

Re: 57 T Bird radiator

Being a 57 T Bird it's important to keep things correct with the Brass/copper radiator though. I do understand the cooling benefits of the aluminum. That aluminum would stand out like seeing a hot...
